Have Alien Encounterers gone too far?

I have noticed in the past few years that there are a lot of websites popping up all over the net where people claim some pretty bizarre things. I know my site has been called strange or worse. But I see now that everyone seems to be an alien in a human body, or a hybrid, or other than that. they form what I guess would be called cults and get people to follow them like they are a guru of some alien religion. Some of the things I have read are very scary.
Has anyone else noticed this? I know it was already happening but I am just seeing more and more of it.
It used to be you would hear about alien abductions or meetings with the Pleiadians, the Nordics, but now it seems everyone involved in alien interests is making things up as they go, almost like it was a computer game.

yess ..Like you said Its becoming a cult or a fad and everybody wants a part of the movement so they make stuff up and even to the point to were they believe it themselves ..self delusion

I have experienced some ET contact .. but i don't blab about it to the world like im a super hero ...so that I can have a fan club or web site ....and its always the same type... the Nordics or the Pleiadians or greys..the ones I have met were neither...and if I did meet a Nordic or Pleiades's I wouldn't be Blabbing on about it on line....unless it was in a discussion like this one

this sounds to me to be dis info agents ..creating false hope for those seeking the truth in an attempt to mislead the majority of people with lower IQs ..that they will believe anything they are told...
I bet 95 % of the info being put out of these sites are total fabrication 180 % wrong but believable to a Low IQ person ..you are right to be upset and irritated with this...
