I gained 10 pounds in the past year. This isn't right. Oh, I should explain. I am 5' 3" and weighed 100 or 101 for a long time. I am now 110. Some people have said I should gain weght and be 115 or 120 but I don't like it. I was very comfortable at 100. Can anyone understand my dilema?

I would not worry so much about that! If you were 150 then you might have a little concern. I also have to wonder if its muscle weight or body fat. Do you ever watch "The Biggest Looser" about the obese people who play the game to lose weight? I notice the ones who lose the least weight are the ones who are putting on the most muscle in the gym work outs. The people who are pushed to lift weights more than running or cardio excercises don't lose as much as those who build less muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat. My brother went from 140 to 180 in a year just by going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week. He gained that weight but it was almost all muscle. I don't think his waist size even changed at all.
