This is the message I posted earlier tonight on yahoo. It took me over 20 minutes just to get back in and copy it to list here. It is one reason and the only reason I want to close the group. It is too slow. The programming is too slow I mean, not the members. It would be much easier to transfer everything here to this board.

Here is the message I posted to our Yahoo group:

I am very seriously considering closing the yahoo Semjase group. It is
not because of anything to do with members. In fact I want you all to
join our forum that I started some time ago.

The truth is it took me one hour and 10 minutes to get this new message
screen up. I have sat here and waited endlessly to read messages, and
sometimes members cannot get approved because the screen is just white.

I am very tired of this slowness.

Our forum loads in seconds.

I will not delete this group right away. In fact I will probably keep
it for a few months from now. I am thinking January 17 for a close.
That is over 3 months from now.

I would also like to save all the messages from this yahoo group in an
archive. There are many good messages. Intriguing! All files, photos
and messages I would like to save. Is there a simple way to do this?
Jen is having the same problems and does not know.

I think I have set it so you can just register without approval. If
not, I will check the forum and at least it only takes a minute as
compared to the HALF HOUR I just spent trying to approve our latest
member opn this group. I did finally succeed but if "dammned krell"
means anything (and I don't normally swear) that gives you an idea of
how frustrated I have been with the programming behind this group.

PS: Pleaidian technology would do wonders here!!!!!!!

It is very slow sometimes. Even on DSL computers I have had problems getting into files or I get "this page cannot be displayed." I know we haven't used the forum much but it does come up on screen much faster. It would be a lot better to use this as our main discussion site IMO.

I have had a white screen on the group since before you posted your message and I have been to 3 or 4 places on this forum. It's not just me , is it?
Plus, I keep getting a pop-up asking me to install a flash player I already have so I know that has to be a virus pop-up.
